I’ve been a professional French teacher since 2007. I taught French in various language schools, for big companies and at university. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching exclusively online. These experiences have allowed me to be in contact with different types of students, from children to adults, from beginner to proficiency, for leisure or business purposes or to prepare for the official French certifications (I’m also a DELF examiner). Therefore, I’m used to adapt to the needs and learning objectives of my students. This means that I can choose the right teaching material so that we can practice and progress according to your own goals and interests. 

Languatalk is perfect to learn a language in a very efficient, funny and motivating way. My teaching method is based on oral communication and pronunciation, which doesn’t mean that you won’t learn and practice grammar and structures which are necessary to express oneself properly. A few years ago, when I was in bed at night and almost ready to sleep, I used to ask myself this question : "Why would people want to learn French? Are they crazy?"

Well... Are you? 

It definitely takes guts for someone to take the obscure path of French learning, especially when you know that almost no francophone can speak French perfectly. And it is this courageous desire detected in French learners that made me want to start teaching this language three years ago. In fact, besides the syntactic complexity of this language (which, by the way, is most likely to be a cliché), French is a very poetic language, as it allows countless accesses to figurative speeches (so if you tend to be a little sarcastic at times, this might be perfect for you). Plus, French is cool and sounds fancy too, so... 😗

For the past few years, I have been teaching French online and in person to learners of all ages. I am well-versed in the DELF A1-B2 exams and also offer lessons focused on pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar for casual learners. I tailor my lessons to each student's level and goals. For the trial lesson

• I will first share a Google Docs document with you. This will allow you to access lesson plans in advance and add your own notes throughout our sessions.
• In the first few minutes, I’ll ask you to introduce yourself and share your expectations for our lessons.
• We will start with some simple exercises to assess your comfort level with grammar, reading, listening, and speaking.

If your main focus is speaking, we will engage in various speaking exercises to help you gain confidence in the language. If you're preparing for the DELF exams or any school/university assessments, we will target the areas you feel need the most improvement. And if you're here to learn French in a fun and relaxed way, we can explore any themes or topics that interest you.
