I’m a TEFL certified English teacher and I specialize in business English, conversational fluency, and pronunciation. I also have about 35 years’ experience in the business sector, including 25 years in education.

Hello! My name is Tim, I’m from England, and I’m a professional English teacher. I trained at International House in London where I gained the Cambridge CELTA qualification, and I’ve worked with students of all levels and of many different nationalities. I’m also a Spanish student (B2-C1 level) so I know how difficult it can be to learn a foreign language!

My name is Vicki and I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher for speakers of other languages. CELTA is the teaching certificate issued by Cambridge University. I specialize in Business and Academic English but I also teach general English classes as well. I have been teaching both group and private lessons for about two and a half years. I have an academic background (a Ph.D. in Social and Political Thought and a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Art History and Political Studies). My time at university has developed my understanding and use of the English language to an advanced level. I have taught students from all over the world and of all ages. I am a New Zealander living in Germany, and as a language learner myself (German and Maori), I know how important it is to enjoy the learning process and to feel safe to make mistakes. I am a very friendly and encouraging teacher and I strive to adapt my lessons to my students' specific needs, wants, and interests. I am also always upskilling as a teacher, participating in webinars and further training opportunities whenever possible in order to learn new teaching techniques.

About me:

I’m Diana, a friendly and patient English teacher from the beautiful city of Cape Town currently living in Portugal. In 2017, I completed my TESOL and TEYLT trainings and since then I have worked with students from all around the world both in language schools and online. I have lived and taught English in 5 different countries (Spain, Portugal, Indonesia, Turkey and South Africa) to students of all levels (beginners to advanced). In 2021, I became certified to teach Ielts and have thus helped numerous students with  their exam preparations too.
