I'm Ryan, I am a Canadian Certified English TESOL instructor.  I am a Native English speaker, currently living in Mexico.  I have taught all ages and abilities.  In the past I have taught at an English school but now I am mostly teaching online, which I enjoy al lot!  I love teaching English to beginners, intermediates and I also really look forward to helping advanced leaners prep for IELTS, CELPIP or even preparing you for your next job interview.  

In my classes we will work on conversation skills, grammar, phrasal verbs, idioms, and new vocabulary, also we can review any current English school work you have.   I know that I was talking a little fast in my video, but I promise to slow down in our class as my students ability dictates.

I specialise in conversation classes for students who want to perfect their English speaking for business or personal reasons. I have many years of experience in business management which is why I offer business English to students who need proficiency in English, in the workplace.

I am based in South Africa although I spent many years teaching English in China, and I have experience of most English curriculums.

I have always been interested in Eastern languages and cultures as well, so I decided to specialize in Japanese language and culture at university. Hi there! I'm teacher Dio and I have been a teacher for over a decade. I love what I do - I am passionate about languages. I speak 3 languages (Portuguese, Spanish and of course, English). I've lived in Germany, Ireland, and I just recently moved to Spain. I am telling you this because that means I KNOW how learning a language works.  

Something that is important to know is that you DON'T need to live in an English-speaking country to learn English effectively. Everything really is all about you taking some minutes of your day to study and to surround yourself with the language! Hi there! I'm a Native English Teacher from the Unites Sates, with over 12 years of experience teaching students from all over the world. Not only a teacher, but a lover of languages, I speak 3 languages fluently and 5 languages in total. I grew up speaking English and Spanish, and after completing my studies, I decided to move to Hong Kong, where I learned Cantonese (southern Chinese) and taught English for 9 years.

In Hong Kong I taught conversational English as well as English in theater, with an emphasis on natural flowing speech and emotional expression within the dialogues, erasing those old monotone/ robotic style of speaking habits a lot of students picked up in school (no disrespect to the schools! They’ve served their purpose!) I've also taught poetry for students to balance the very technical, Left-brain dominant grammar based lesson with a more expressive, Right-brain dominant and playful form like music and poetry, and theater.

One thing that sets me apart from most English teachers is that I know what it’s like first hand to work and live in a foreign language environment as I've also performed staged dramas in Cantonese! I certainly do know what it’s like to be on stage with all eyes on you, a bunch of native speakers listening to me, who has just learned to speak it a few years ago only! It’s nerve racking at first, but then once you do it, it’s one of the most liberating things you could ever do for your speaking confidence. You really see that communication goes way beyond words! In this era more than ever, communication is key.
